This class is hard and it's really hard to get good grades from the very start because there are so many things you have to remember. What can I do to make things easier? (Note that I didn't say "easy"--there's a difference.) Quite often I don't record grades for the first attempt at a project so you have a little practice before it counts. I assume that helps. What else can I do that would help you?

Ideas for Ads

Post your suggestions for products for our first ads here. Be careful not to recommend things with hugely popular advertising. Instead, look for products, services, retailers, etc. who seem to need some help. Old products that everyone's forgotten are good. Or products that need to be directed to a different audience are also fun. And if we don't get to work on one of your suggested products, you may be able to do so later in the semester.
